Gen X Women in the Workforce

The majority of the women we see wanting quality part time work are parents who have taken time out of the workforce. A recent Melbourne University study backs up what we have experienced with our candidate database. Less than half of tertiary educated Gen X women are currently employed full time, the remainder are either part time or at home with children with a significant number of these forging new directions by starting their own businesses.

This article from “The Age” examines the issue in more depth and has generated some heated discussion.

Stay tuned for our new survey on this contentious issue to be posted on this site in the near future.
