Business development suits some people better than others, when it comes to fit it could be said that you are tailor made! You understand the sales cycle as though you wrote the book and your previous employers have benefitted from your exceptional talents.

Key Accountabilities/Functions
To develop a sales strategy and increase sales through:
researching potential new clients
development of specific and individualised sales plans
Presenting of marketing solutions
regular call cycles direct to clients
cold call approaches
network development
To provide excellent service delivery through:
tailoring of service offerings be they training, coaching or marketing advice
delivery of programs
anticipating customer issues that may arise
liaising with colleagues to ensure consistency of message
responding to customer queries expediently and efficiently.
To report on sales performance by:
Attending regular sales meetings
Preparing written sales reports To contribute to the team effort and continuous improvement of service offering through open and constructive communication particularly with the Managing Director and alliance partners.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
Solid experience in sales within a high end consultative product range, either marketing services or training
Well connected with a current network of potential client contacts.
Good business process knowledge and acumen
Experience in service delivery ideally training packages, management consulting
Experience in developing and working to a budget and developing individuals sales plans
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Education
Degree in Marketing or Business discipline
