Receptionist

Job  Description: 

If you love a challenging and busy reception environment, thrive on the people responsibilities that come with reception and are able to handle multiple demands on your time - this PART TIME reception role is just for you.

Our client runs a very specialised practice in the eastern suburbs. The place is never boring and the role of Receptionist is considered to be the first "moment of truth" for the organisation and as such they need someone with great poise and experience.

The key attributes you will need are:

Outstanding reception and customer service capabilities including the ability to show sensitivity, compassion and discretion

 • Good computer application skills in Microsoft Suite – particularly Word

 . • Prior reception experience in a busy office with multiple incoming lines

 • Experience in a medical or similar professional practice firm would be ideal including experience with HICAPS and credit card transactions

 • Minimum of 5 years in Administration – could have been prior to a break in career

. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 As the Receptionist, you will also need to be mature, calm under pressure, have loads of initiative and like to feel part of the team. This role is for 15 to 20 hours per week, with at least one long day (0900 to 6.30pm) and shorter days thereafter.
